Arlington, Va.-based NOVA MMA boasts having “the most expansive selection of martial arts classes in the area.” It offers instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jistu, Krav Maga, Judo and Mauy Thai. While boxing is obviously the focus at Rockville, Md.-based Champion Boxing & Fitness, it has a extensive MMA program with classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. The program is designed for MMA competitors but is open to non-competitors as well. Burmese Boxing, wrestling, and traditional boxing are included as part of the MMA exercise routines.
