Muzette is where the serious karaoke players go in D.C. This Korean restaurant and karaoke bar has five private rooms than can be rented out by the hour. The rooms each hold between four and 15 people and offer more than 70,000 songs in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese. Solly’s U Street Tavern is one of the homes to DC’s traveling Kostume Karaoke night. The popular traveling troupe encourages dress up and usually turns into a giant sing-along. Every Thursday night you can come as you are in costume. Guests can also pick through the Kostume Karaoke wardrobe trunk. Karaoke starts at 8 p.m., right after happy hour.
