Constructed in 2009, the Wilson Aquatic Center is one of the best places to go for a dip in D.C. The facility houses a large indoor pool for competitions, measuring 25 yards by 50 meters, as well as a secondary pool designed for leisure and wellness purposes. Other onsite features at the facility include an adult whirlpool, locker rooms and changing cabanas, a recreational room, vending areas, an onsite safety center and spectator seating and viewing galleries. The center is also used for practice purposes by the Woodrow Wilson High School team as well as competitions and other events.

Indoor recreation at the Mount Vernon RECenter includes a fitness center, ice-skating arena and an aquatic center.  The 25-meter pool offers plenty of unique features, including a poolside spa and a beach play area with gentle jets and lightly spouting water. You will also find ample available locker rooms and showers, as well as steamy saunas. A number of area groups, including swim teams and Aquatic Adventures Scuba Diving use the pool for meets and practices.

This swim center features a 25-meter pool with plenty of divided space for various pursuits and purposes, including designated diving areas with diving boards. There is also a “Teach Pool” for children still learning the basics, as well as a pool for hydrotherapy purposes. The center offers plenty of unique activities and learning events, including swimming lessons, aquatic fitness, lifeguard and other safety training and even kayaking. There are also changing facilities that are entirely handicapped accessible.
