Stephen Strasburg may not be ruled out as a potential starter for the Nationals in Game 4 of their National League Division Series against the Cubs.

CONFIRMED: Strasburg to Start Game 4

This, despite manager Dusty Baker announcing Tuesday — after Game 4 had already been postponed until Wednesday at 4:08 p.m. — that he would stick with Tanner Roark as his starter in Game 4.

And, despite Nats GM Mike Rizzo, in an interview with The Sports Junkies Wednesday morning, vehemently defending the club’s decision to start Roark over Strasburg.

According to MLB Network’s Jon Mororsi, Strasburg is now the “likely” Game 4 starter this afternoon.

Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post is reporting in concert with Morosi on the sudden change.

More to come as the situation unfolds.
