James Madison has announced the suspension of seven football players ahead of an appearance in the FCS national championship.

According to the Harrisonburg Daily News-Record, the suspended players were also suspended for last week’s FCS semifinal win over top-ranked North Dakota State, and those indefinite suspensions will carry over to the national title game against Youngstown State.

James Madison head coach Mike Houston has confirmed the identities of two of those players — wide receiver Terrence Alls and linebacker Brandon Hereford — though the school has declined to release the names of the other five suspended players.

JMU meets Youngstown State in Frisco, Texas on Jan. 7.
