WASHINGTON — After starting the series on the bench, Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Michael Neuvirth has dominated his former team, earning first star honors in Games 4 and 5.

He blocked 72-straight shots between the third period of Game 4 and the second period of Game 6 (106 minutes), before allowing a sharp shot from Washington Capitals alternate captain Nicklas Backstrom.
