SAN FRANCISCO — The last time Beyoncé took the halftime stage at the Super Bowl, she reunited with Destiny’s Child for an iconic show that created a power surge in the stadium, cutting out power in the Super Dome for 45 minutes.
To prepare themselves for her Super Bowl halftime return, the NFL brought her back for a West Coast game that had her performing at approximately 5 p.m. local time, in an outdoor venue of Levi Stadium in San Francisco.
Coming in as the third artist introduced to the capacity crowd of 75,000 and hundreds of millions of viewers around the world, Beyoncé sang “Formation,” teamed up with Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson for a variation of “Uptown Funk,” and even got in a few lines of “Crazy in Love.”
Here is a social recap of the star-studded performance:
Already tweeted about @Beyonce during Super Bowl XLVII. I have nothing to add to my analysis of her energetics.
