WASHINGTON — “You all will be sorry. You all will be killed.”
That was the threat included in a menacing phone message left at the Manassas Mosque Wednesday night, according to our news partners at Channel 9.
The caller claimed to be from the Jewish Defense League, which the Southern Poverty Law Center calls a “radical organization that preaches a violent form of anti-Arab Jewish nationalism,” and claimed action would be taken if any Jews were found to be among the dead in San Bernardino, California.
On Wednesday, a husband-and-wife pair opened fire at an office party there, killing 14 people and wounding 21. The suspects, U.S.-born Syed Farook and Pakistan national Tashfeen Malik, were Muslims.
Prince William County police are investigating the threat, Channel 9 reports.
