WASHINGTON — Locally, it’s a well known mantra, but it’s something tourists seem to be oblivious to — on Metro escalators, you stand on the right, and walk on the left.
Maybe if a catchy new song by some local jazz musicians takes off, it will be a little easier to remember.
Aaron Myers, a D.C. performer and singer, handles the vocals, and is backed up by Oren Levine on piano, Percy White on bass and Wes Crawford on drums.
The song is part of a larger collaboration between Myers and Levine (who also wrote the song and the lyrics), a holiday album called “Snowing In Vegas.”
