WASHINGTON — This Veterans Day, many are thanking our military for their sacrifice and service through volunteering and showing their gratitude on social media.

One particularly moving tribute was directed by Rylan Touhy, the Naval Academy Midshipman who created the now viral “Naptown Funk.”

The production is titled “To Those Who Serve” and features several Naval officers and a female midshipman.

They each describe what it was like to join the Navy.

“I had no idea what the military was going to be about and I was really worried that I wasn’t going to be able to keep up with everyone else,” says Midshipman Anna Wade.

And they explain their passion to serve.

“I still have that desire to serve our country. If anything, it’s just grown over time,” says Chief Robert Hock.
