WASHINGTON — A retired Baltimore police officer was brutally attacked by teens outside a bar over the weekend, Baltimore Police say.

The 71-year-old man is being treated at Shock Trauma, where he is listed in critical condition. Police Commissioner Kevin Davis visited him Tuesday and says this is simply unacceptable, WJZ-13 reports.

Surveillance footage captures the beating outside Paradise Bar in Baltimore. Investigators say four individuals allegedly attacked the retired officer when he caught them messing with his car outside the bar on Pennington Avenue.

Police arrested 16-year-old Allan Jerome Howard, who they say was involved in the attack, but add there are still three other suspects authorities are searching for. Police believe two of the suspects are females and the third suspect is a male.

Anyone with information on the other suspects is asked to call police.
