WASHINGTON (CBS DC) – Actress Olivia Wilde isn’t supporting Donald Trump. Wilde while at the screening for “Ellis” gave her opinion to Page Six on Donald Trump and what he had to say about immigration.

Wilde said, “It made me think of the current refugee crisis. [America] was a beacon of hope for so many … yet some in this country have developed this xenophobia that totally conflicts with what we’re based on. The fact that we can have someone running for president who openly projects that xenophobia is really sickening,” she added, “particularly when you look at a film like this and remember our roots.”

Wilde even wrote a tweet referring to Donald Trump wanting to kick immigrants out of the country.

Donald Trump months ago referred to Mexicans as “rapists” while announcing that he was running for a presidential bid. Trump has pledged to build a wall between Mexico and the United States to keep them out.

“Ellis” recently premiered at The New Yorker Festival.
