ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Annapolis is known for amazing views, the center of Maryland politics and the Naval Academy.

Now, they can add a new achievement or lack thereof to the resume — They were just listed as the drunkest town in the state of Maryland.

RoadSnacks analyzed 100 Maryland cities to make up their list of The Drunkest Cities in Maryland:

1. Annapolis
2. Hagerstown
3. Bel Air
4. College Park
5. Baltimore
6. Frederick
7. Cumberland
8. Laurel
9. Parkville
10. Elkton

With a population of a little over 38,000, the capital of Maryland has more bars per capita than anywhere else in the state. The divorce rate is one of the highest as well.

To compile their list, they took into account the number of bars and pubs per capita, number of wineries per capita, number of liquor stores per capita, each city’s drunk related tweets within the last week and each city’s divorce rate.

For geo-located tweets, they measured the following raw number of hash-tagged tweets that came from within a city’s general area: #Drunk, #Party, #Beer, #Wine and #Cocktails.

And in neighboring Virginia, Charlottesville topped the list of The Drunkest Cities in Virginia:

1. Charlottesville
2. Winchester
3. Virginia Beach
4. Fredericksburg
5. Bristol
6. Richmond
7. Leesburg
8. Roanoke
9. Abingdon
10. Arlington

With a population of a little over 43,000, Charlottesville there are almost more bars per capita than anywhere else in the state of Virginia.
