ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are offering their headquarters and district buildings for people to complete online sales in relative safety.

Officers say residents who want to complete sales started on Craigslist, online yard sales and other sites can meet at police locations to exchange the merchandise and payment.

Consumers can meet either in the buildings’ lobbies or the front parking lot. Residents can also ask police to make sure an item being sold is not stolen.
