WASHINGTON — The Blue Angels took to the sky Sunday, flying over the Pentagon and the Washington area as part of a team photo shoot.
U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron soared over the region around 6:30 p.m.
The Blue Angels flew the squadron’s six-jet F/A-18 Hornet Delta Formation. The team made multiple passes from east to west over Ronald Reagan International Airport. The team also flew all around the city from north to south between photo runs. A seventh jet flew alongside as a photo platform.
