WASHINGTON — The D.C. Police Department asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a person and vehicle of interest involved in the robbery of a man in a wheelchair.

Police say the robbery occurred in the 4100 block of Wheeler Road, SE, on Wednesday between 8:28 a.m. and 8:40 a.m.

The person and vehicle of interest were captured by nearby surveillance cameras (shown above).

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
