WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County Police are looking for a third suspect they say is involved in the carjacking and assault of a man in Mount Rainier Sunday night.
Police say three suspects walked up to a man in a parking lot around 11:15 p.m. in the 4500 block of 22nd Avenue and assaulted him without warning. They then stole his keys and drove off in his car.
Two of the suspects are in custody. They have been identified as 17-year-old Ahkilah Carter and 17-year-old Tyrail Leonard. Police say they have been charged as adults.
Police have identified the third suspect and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. He has been identified as 18-year-old Demarco Green (pictured above).
Police say all three of the suspects live in the same residence in the 3900 block of South Dakota Avenue in Northeast, D.C.
Carter and Leonard were taken into custody in the District Sunday night shortly after the attack.
All three suspects are charged with carjacking, theft and assault.
Police say the victim suffered serious injuries in the assault. He has since been released from the hospital.
