BALTIMORE — Transportation Security Administration officials say two men were arrested for bringing loaded guns into Maryland airports.
Authorities say the men were stopped at Hagerstown Regional and Baltimore Washington International-Thurgood Marshal airports on Thursday.
At BWI, authorities say a Baltimore County man was stopped after TSA officers caught him with a handgun loaded with five rounds of ammunition as he was passing through a checkpoint. Authorities say the gun was in his luggage, and that he was ticketed to fly to New York.
At Hagerstown, a Virginia man was arrested by Washington County Sheriff’s deputies after TSA officers caught him with a handgun loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition. He was ticketed to fly to Orlando, Florida.
Both men face weapons charges.
