WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — If Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., becomes president, he will have a pretty sweet bachelor pad.
The Republican presidential candidate is looking to become the first bachelor to occupy the White House since President Woodrow Wilson.
Graham joked to Daily Mail Online about who would be his first lady if he happens to become president.
“Well, I’ve got a sister, she could play that role if necessary,” Graham said.
He then quipped, “I’ve got a lot of friends. We’ll have a rotating first lady.”
The Daily Mail reports that Graham’s sister, Darline Graham Nordone lives in South Carolina with her husband and two daughters.
Graham announced he was running for president on June 1 in his hometown of Central, then spent most of the next week in New Hampshire and Iowa, which are the first two voting states in the primaries and caucuses.
South Carolina holds the first-in-the-South presidential primary.
Graham is considered a long shot to clinch the GOP presidential nomination.
