WASHINGTON — There are major delays on the Bay Bridge Sunday evening after a crash closed the eastbound span.
The Maryland Transportation Authority closed the eastbound side of the bridge after the crash and began a two-way operation on the westbound side to allow eastbound travelers to cross.
The eastbound lanes are now open.
Westbound traffic is still seeing delays.

MDTA says EMS units arrived to the scene. The cause of the crash and condition of the people involved is unknown at this time.
