WASHINGTON (WNEW) — Police are investigating the “very suspicious death” of a woman inside her home in Arlington.
Arlington County Police responded to the 1100 block of 18th Street South just before 8 a.m. Friday after a passerby saw the woman’s two children wandering around alone outside the home.
The woman’s children, ages 3 and 5, were taken into the custody of Child Protective Services, according to Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck.

She has been identified as 42-year-old Bonnie Black.
Sternbeck said there is a history of domestic violence at the home and that the Black had taken out a restraining order against the father of the two children, who police are in contact with. He is currently not in custody.
This is a developing story. The investigation is ongoing.
