WASHINGTON — National Park Service officials are installing a new feature at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington to have visitors share their stories about their favorite national parks.

Park officials are installing a new interactive kiosk at the memorial on Thursday. It’s part of a “Find Your Park” campaign to encourage people to learn about and connect with the 407 national parks across the country.

The new interactive display will ask visitors to share their stories about their favorite parks and to find new parks to visit.

The National Park Service and the nonprofit National Park Foundation are working to reach a younger, more diverse audience to engage with the parks. They are also working to build stronger public support for the parks and raise funds for maintenance needs.
