WASHINGTON (WNEW) — Two students have been charged with making threats against a middle school in Virginia, police say.

The Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office charged a 13-year-old student from Cedar Lee Middle School and a 14-year-old student from Liberty High School.

Police say both students were involved in separate incidents targeting Cedar Lee Middle School.

The 13-year-old student has been charged with threatening to bomb a building, while the 14-year-old student has been charged with making a threat of death or bodily injury.

Police say their names will be withheld due to their age.
