BALTIMORE — Baltimore is getting ready for its 60th annual parade in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
The St. Patrick Parade will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. It begins at Baltimore’s Washington Monument, goes south on Charles Street and continues east on Pratt Street to Market Place.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will be one of the participants in the parade.
Road closures and parking restrictions will begin as early as 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Officials say drivers can expect significant delays between noon and 5 p.m.
The Shamrock 5K Race is also taking place at 1:15 p.m. and kicks off at Charles and Franklin Streets.
