LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — This President’s Day, an Uber promotion is allowing D.C. area residents to ride around the nation’s capital like President Obama himself.
Okay, so the glass windows aren’t bulletproof, but the “Ubercade” includes a ride in a Cadillac STS, which is escorted by two Suburbans.
There are even a couple of “Secret Service” agents thrown in the deal.
“President’s Day is here and whether you’re stuck at the office or bottomless-brunching your way through the day, we’re in DC and should celebrate our presidents,” the promotion reads.
Here’s a video posted by one Uber customer who had a similar motorcade from the ride service last November:
Despite the excessive vehicles, the Ubercade will cost you the same rate as a regular uberX ride, the company’s cheapest option.
Ubercades must be requested between 10 a.m and 3 p.m. Monday and can only be in the Beltway.
