LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Police are searching for two men they say are involved in the robbery of a gas station in Hanover.

Anne Arundel County Police responded to the Exxon gas station around 6:30 a.m. Thursday in the 7600 block of Arundel Mills Boulevard for the report of a robbery. The gas station is located across the street from Arundel Mills Mall.

Witnesses told police that two men entered the store, one displaying a knife and demanded money while the second man jumped over the counter and took money from the registers. Both men then ran from the gas station and entered into a dark-colored sedan in the roadway.

The car drove off towards Route 100. No injuries were reported.

Police say several officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

The first suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing and a dark ski mask, armed with a knife.

The second suspect is described as a black male also wearing dark clothing and a dark ski mask, as well as a dark-colored back pack.
