WASHINGTON — Police are identifying a robbery suspect killed by officers after he allegedly fired at them in southeast Washington.
Police identified the man Friday as 29-year-old Raymond Robinson of southeast Washington.
Police said previously that officers pursued Robinson on Wednesday afternoon because he matched the description of a suspect in a robbery that had just occurred. Police said Robinson shot at officers during the pursuit and they returned fire, killing him.
The shooting occurred in the 2800 block of Naylor Road SE. An investigation is ongoing.
