BALTIMORE — Protesters have been blocking roads and intersections in Baltimore to call for action after the deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of police.
The gathering began Saturday afternoon at McKeldin Square. Protesters later began marching through parts of the city amid the fanfare for the Army-Navy football game.
Police urged drivers to avoid the area of Interstate-395, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Washington Boulevard due to the protest march. For a time, protesters blocked all lanes of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
