LINTHICUM, Md. — Officials say a construction worker died after an accident at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
Airport officials said in a statement that the accident occurred around 2 p.m. Monday. The worker was injured by a concrete paver vehicle. He was treated on the scene and taken to a hospital, where he died.
Maryland Transportation Authority police are investigating the incident. The worker was employed by a subcontractor, Hi-Way Paving Inc. The company is working on a concrete paving project near the south side of the airport. The work site has been shut down for the sake of the investigation.
