FREDERICK, Md. (WNEW/AP) — Police say a body was found in a creek in Monocacy Village Park Saturday afternoon.
Police on Saturday evening identified the man as 30-year-old William Michael Lee of Frederick. Police did not release his cause or manner of death but said an autopsy would be performed.
Freederick Police responded to the park around 1:30 p.m. after a body was found floating in the creek.
Police arrived and found the man deceased. Police have not released the man’s identity and said they are investigating.
The body was removed from the scene at about 4 p.m. The park is owned by the City of Frederick.
