BALTIMORE — An Anne Arundel County man has pleaded guilty to producing child pornography stemming from videos that prosecutors say show him sexually assaulting a toddler.
Twenty-two-year-old Darrius Carr of Severn pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography in federal court in Baltimore on Wednesday. Prosecutors say Carr has agreed to serve 25 years in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release in exchange for the plea. His sentencing is set for Jan. 26.
Prosecutors say Carr moved into a couple’s home on March 6 to provide daycare for their young children.
Prosecutors say Carr filmed himself sexually assaulting a toddler-aged girl on March 7 and March 11. They say Carr had been storing and distributing child pornography since at least 2012.
