WESTMINSTER, Md. — One man was hospitalized and nearly a dozen homes had minor damage after an explosion in a storage shed in Carroll County.
Authorities responded to the 200 block of Sullivan Road in Westminster on Saturday morning for a report of an explosion.
A 56-year-old man who was reportedly opening the shed door when the blast occurred was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
