LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) —, a popular restaurant reservation website, has released a list of the nation’s top 100 best brunch spots. Ten local eateries — three in Maryland and seven in D.C. — are ranked.

California claims the greatest number of top restaurants with 12, followed by New York with 10. D.C. has eight if you count both Ted’s Bulletin locations.

The District fared pretty well, if you ask us, considering it’s a tiny fraction of the size of the only two areas that claimed more spots on the list.

A news release says the list was generated from more than 5 million restaurant reviews collected from verified OpenTable diners between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2014.
