LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Millions of Americans are once again making Black Friday one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

The traditional start of the holiday shopping season brings with it the stress of long lines, crowded stores, short tempers of fellow shoppers and the frustrations of not actually getting the door-busting deal, because the store is only selling one item at the insanely low advertised price.

Sore feet, headaches, and a complete lack of patience are hardly things that sound like fun, but the majority of Black Friday shoppers say they actually enjoy the experience.

Fifty-seven percent of bargain hunters give the day two thumbs up, according to a survey conducted for Women’s Wear Daily.

Here are five interesting findings from the survey:

1.) 42 percent of people said Black Friday is the best shopping day of the year.

2.) 29 percent like it less than the other 364 shopping days on the calendar.

3.) 68 percent of shoppers have researched items before going to the store.

4.) 3 percent won’t do any product research at all.

5.) 43 percent of shoppers don’t think Black Friday is fun.
