LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A murder suicide in Salisbury, Md., has left two men dead and one student injured, according to our news partners at WJZ.

The incident happened off Onley Road, which is near Salisbury University and multiple off-campus apartment buildings.

Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis tells WJZ that Salisbury police arrived on the scene first and located three victims with multiple gunshot wounds.

One victim, a university student, was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. Two others, who are not thought to be students, were pronounced dead on the scene. The surviving victim’s condition is unknown.

Officials from Salisbury University issued an emergency announcement on the school’s website, and later updated the site to say that no continuing threat exists to the campus community. People are still being asked to avoid the Onley Road area as the investigation is ongoing.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
