ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A newspaper reports the FBI has visited the Pennsylvania home of a man whose son identified himself as the source of leaks about a top-secret U.S. surveillance program.

The Morning Call of Allentown says two people arrived at the Upper Macungie Township home of Lonnie Snowden Monday and identified themselves as FBI agents. An FBI spokesman in Philadelphia declined comment to The Associated Press.

Lonnie Snowden told ABC News he’s concerned about his son, Edward Snowden.

No one answered the door Monday. Neighbors say Lonnie married Edward’s stepmother five or six years ago. They never saw Edward at the house on a quiet residential street.

Neighbor Jonathan Reck says Lonnie Snowden told him Sunday his son was “the whistleblower.”

He says Snowden apologized if the neighborhood suffered a media onslaught.
