Graham Gano’s job is safe, for now, as the Redskins had to cut their 90-man roster to 75 today and Neil Rackers, who was battling with Gano for the starting kickers job, was cut.  Veteran cornerback Kevin Barnes was also one of the unlucky ones cut today and so was rookie Lance Lewis.

Evan Royster, who missed Saturday’s game with a knee injury, says “it feels good” and that as of now he is scheduled to play in the final preseason game Wednesday.  Kory Lichtensteiger, who hasn’t play at all in the preseason due to a knee scope, says he doesn’t see anything standing in the way of him playing week one and says he doesn’t know if he’ll play in the final preseason game on Wednesday against the Buccaneers.  Lichtensteiger, if able to go, is expected to be the starting left guard for the Redskins come week one.

Listen here to what Graham Gano, Evan Royster, Kory Lichtensteiger, Chris Chester, Dezmon Briscoe, Lorenzo Alexander & Lance Lewis had to say during open locker room today.
