Despite the rain, the Redskins practiced outside today at Redskins Park for the first time since Monday.  Redskins Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan said “yeah we were” when asked if they were able to go full speed today in the rain.  Kyle Shanahan said it didn’t really start to come down until they were halfway through practice.

LaRon Landry was the only active Redskins player not to participate in practice today and was called a “long shot” by Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan to play on Sunday.  Chris Cooley (knee), Donte Stallworth (shoulder), OJ Atogwe (hamstring), Brandon Banks (knee) & Ryan Torain (hand) were limited in practice.  Cooley is progressing and they are taking it “day by day”.  Torain, Stallworth, Atogwe & Banks are expected to be healthy enough to play Sunday.

For the Giants, Prince Amukamara (foot), Jonathan Goff (knee), Osi Umenyiora (knee) are already ruled out for Sunday.  Giants defensive end Justin Tuck (neck) didn’t practice today.

The Redskins will have one more full practice tomorrow before they play the Giants on Sunday.
