Golf in the district seems like it would be exclusive and reserved for diplomats and dignitaries. Of course, those courses do exist, but luckily for the average resident, there are golf courses available that don’t require a special clearance. Located in the beautiful Rock Creek Park, this golf course is proud to be environmentally friendly, it was even recognized by Audubon International for its maintenance practices. The course is affordable, accessible and a great course for beginners. With par threes and fours, expert and amateur golfers might not find it difficult, but it still might give you new golfers a bit of trouble. Visit the course for its scenery and stay for nine holes.
