Adolf Hitler is not typically the first choice for a focus of a play, but he seems to work well when set in a dark comedy. Instead of focusing on the man who brought about one of the darkest periods in world history, George Tabori’s play tells a story of a youthful Hitler as he tries to gain admittance to the Academy of Arts in Vienna. During this time, he becomes friends with Herzl and Lobkowitz, and in spite of this friendship, turns into a monster. SCENA’s production surely won’t disappoint.
