Banneker Pool is one of the most well known public pools in Washington, D.C. Located on Howard University’s campus, the pool seems to be in constant use during the summer. Upton Hill Regional Park is a large wooded park with batting cages, a miniature golf course, a playground, trails and the main attraction: The Ocean Dunnes Waterpark. The Martin Luther King, Jr. outdoor pool in Silver Spring is a fun, large public pool. This is 50-meter L-shaped pool with a diving area, a Lazy River, leisure pool, tot pool and waterslides.
