Tidal Basin

West Potomac Park, South of the National Mall

A calming path around the tidal basin makes for a great walk alone or with company. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it makes for an even better view of the water and the nearby monuments. Also enjoy a ride on the paddle boats in the basin.

Meridian Hill Park

16th Street Northwest
Washington, DC

Nestled in between Columbia Heights and the bustling streets of Adams Morgan, Meridian Hill Park seems like a getaway from the city life. Manicured trees line several broad walking paths. Huge statues placed along side of the park and various views of the beautiful cascading fountain make for a nice stroll in the park.

Georgetown Waterfront Park

31st Street to Wisconsin Avenue

Enjoy the entire Waterfront with views of the Potomac River, Roosevelt Island, and overall skyline of DC and parts of Virginia at the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Kayakers, cyclists, and pedestrians have more than enough to keep them entertained, from the labyrinth, to the rain gardens, to the nearby shops and restaurants.
