Reagan National Airport is a Washingtonian favorite. With smaller terminals, it’s easy to get to your gate, so when you find you have some time to kill or just want to calm your pre-flight nerves, check out these places to tie one on at the airport. Cibo Bistro & Wine Bar

Located outside of the TSA Security checkpoints, Cibo is a great place to grab a glass of wine and a nice meal before a flight. Offering Italian cuisine in a sit-down setting, you can order by the glass or bottle to calm those pre-flight nerves. The TSA lines at Reagan move pretty quickly and the gates are nearby the main concourse, so you can take your time before entering the security lines. You can also grab some food to go at the express storefront next door.

If you like to grab a beer while killing time at the airport, Jet Rock Bar & Grill is the place to go in Terminal B/C. With 24 beers on tap and televisions set up around the room, you’ll be entertained while you wait. If you’re not sure what to get, try the beer flight to sample a selection. Jet Rock offers a full menu of traditional American fare, so you can grab your meal there as well.

Sam & Harry’s is located outside the TSA Security checkpoint near Terminal C. Focused on regional specialties in seafood, you can grab a bite to eat before the flight as well as a drink. Featuring a full bar, you can grab wine, beer or even a mixed cocktail before your flight. Sam & Harry’s boasts a little more upscale atmosphere with the food and drinks to back it up, so if you’re looking for something more refined before your flight, head there.
