Catoctin Mountain Orchard offers a whole host of apple varieties, including cortland, empire and cameo. Twelve different varieties of apples are available every fall at this wonderful orchard. A good time to go is during the apple harvest festival, which is the second weekend of October. You can indulge in wagon rides, live music and apple cobbler before or after you do your apple picking.
