The process, which includes a wash and shampoo, takes two hours and lasts 12 weeks.

The Brazilian Blowout at Glynn Jones Salon in DC is $425. The glory of this blowout is that clients can walk out in under three hours looking flawless and ready to take on the town. Glynn Jones has three stylists who perform Brazilian Blowouts. Results generally last three to six months, depending on the person’s shampoo regimen and hair care. With the regular keratin treatment offered, starting at $350, clients must wait three days to wash their hair. This Glynn Jones salon, right off Dupont Circle, is conveniently open seven days a week. Roche Salon has two Brazilian options – strictly a blowout or a blowout plus keratin treatment. The blowout express take 45 minutes and lasts a few weeks, while the full treatment takes two to three hours and lasts four to six weeks. All stylists at Roche are able to perform Brazilian Blowouts. Pricing depends on the length and thickness of hair, so a consultation is required before scheduling an appointment. There is a larger second Roche location in Georgetown.
