You can go to a bar and listen to music, or you can make your own at one of these karaoke hot spots. Some even offer specials for singers. So warm up those pipes, and start contemplating your favorite sing-able song. You’ll want to have something in mind when you open the gigantic volumes of song options! – Allie Moore

Café Japone

After a few glasses of Sapporo, browse through the book of songs and warm up your vocal chords. The restaurant is extremely small, making for an intimate performance and a perfect first-sing for karaoke newbies. If you’re nervous, pick a well-known song that the crowd can sing with you, and you’ll soon have new friends and new popularity as your own rock star. Hours: Monday through Thursday, Sunday, 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; Friday and Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
