“DC’s Only Urban Comedy Club” has this listed on their web site as being every Thursday at 9 p.m., with a rotating host. $5 admission for guys, and women get in free. There’s no indication on their site how to sign up for the open mic, but you can always try to e-mail for more information.

The Baltimore Comedy Factory is another staple within the DMV. Patrons can sign up to be on the email list and receive tickets in the mail to attend shows for free. There is a 2 drink minimum purchase for all shows, but the beverages do not have to be alcoholic. Many big names have graced the stage at the Factory.
