Study: 21 Percent Of US Millennial Parents In Poverty

More than one-in-five (21 percent) of U.S. Millennial parents is impoverished, with rates of poverty among young Americans expected to expand rapidly as this demographic faces declining wages, vast student debt and an increasing number becoming parents in the coming years.

The so-called “young invincibles” are so important to the success of the Affordable Care Act that supporters and detractors are spending millions to reach them with racy ads, social media campaigns and celebrity endorsements. The president is even (gasp) asking their mothers to help convince them to sign up for insurance.
