Joe Torre, a four-time World Series winning manager with the New York Yankees and the 1971 National League MVP, joined “The Mike Wise Show” on Wednesday and said Washington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg is “something that comes along once in a generation.” Torre, a nine-time all-star with the Braves and Cardinals, managed the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2008-2010, and compares Strasburg to a player he coached, 2011 NL Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw.
This morning, here at 106.7 The Fan studios in Fairfax, a car jumped the curb and smashed through the building. Amazingly, no one was injured, including the driver.
