Colt McCoy took a blow to the back of the head from St. Louis Rams defensive end Robert Quinn and suddenly the Redskins’ quarterback situation is in flux. Again.
The Redskins trudged off the field to pure indifference. The boos were minimal. There weren’t enough fans left in the stands to make much of an impact anyway. They had long since departed FedEx Field before the final whistle sounded on a disheartening 24-0 loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
During a blowout, shutout loss to the Rams, Washington Redskins fans began chanting for Robert Griffin III who was sidelined for the second time this season.
